Floor Cloth Ordering Information
You can order our most popular floorcloths right from the website by going to the Best Sellers section of the Gallery. These come in standard sizes and in fantastic historic colors.They usually ship within 4 weeks of ordering. (When you order we’ll send you a predicted delivery date.)
If you prefer a one-of-a-kind floorcloth made specifically for your home, we can do that too! In fact, most of the work we do is designed for each individual customer. Patterns are created, exact colors are chosen and a perfect size and shape is determined. You can even take advantage of our Try It Before You Buy It program, where you can “try on” several different floorcloths before you purchase one.
After you’ve looked through the gallery and found a couple of designs you like (or if you have an idea of your own), fill out the Custom Floorcloth Form or contact the studio and Lisa Curry Mair will design a computerized mock up for you. If you like the design, colors and layout, you can go ahead and place the order. Your floorcloth will be made for you (usually within 6-8 weeks, depending on the complexity, size and number of current orders).

How much will a handmade floorcloth cost?
Pricing depends on the size, number of colors used and the complexity of the design. Each floorcloth takes several weeks to create. We take no shortcuts and only the best museum-quality materials are used.3′X5′ floorcloths start at $200; large, dining room floorcloths are usually in the $2000 to $3000 range.Use the Price Calculator to estimate the price for your floorcloth. The actual price will be determined as the design is developed.
Design CatalogThe Canvasworks Traditional Designs Catalog has a wide selection of patterns and Colonial colors to choose from. Blank floorcloths are made from heavyweight #8 and #4 cotton canvas. These floorcloths have been shrunk, primed and have a sewn hem with carefully mitered corners. Each is ready to paint and finish your way.More Info |
