Checks with Border Fruit Candle Mat Kit
This 8″ X 8″ candle mat is the perfect accent for any Christmas table. The Checks with Border Fruit design comes from the early 1800s. You can see it’s big cousin, the Checks with Border Fruit Floorcloth by clicking here.
The kit includes a primed 8″ X 8″ #8 canvas mat, a template to transfer the design, and complete instructions to finish the piece. This is a simple enough kit to complete in an afternoon.

Branch Stencil Kit (2ft X 3ft)
This floorcloth design is beautiful and simple. The kit comes with a stencil, template to show you how to draw on the checks and complete instructions. There is a link to a video showing how to finish the floorcloth as well.
The instructions show you how to paint this in Georgian Brick, Black and Monterey White, but you could do this floorcloth in your choice of any three colors so that it coordinates with any particular room.

Christmas Star Kit, 2' x 3'
This Christmas Star Kit was originally featured in Early American Life Magazine in 2008 and was so well received it remains our most popular kit to date. As we’re currently consumed with finishing up our new studio building and preparing for our big open house, we’ve chosen to re-release it as our December kit of the month. We include a detailed set of instructions for laying out the pattern and borders along with a stencil for the star and a ready to paint floorcloth. This is a great project to create a wonderful 2 ft. by 3 ft. entry rug to welcome your holiday guests.

PAINT IS NOT INCLUDED in this kit and will need to be acquired separately.
We are now offering this kit both without and with our recommended paint. This special marine grade acrylic paint is the most flexible and durable we have found. This is critical to stand up to the flexing and tough use that floorcloths must endure without cracking or peeling. Normally retailed around $93 for a 1 gallon minimum, we can now offer these traditional colors in 1/2 pint or pint cans so you can use the best quality paints without having to buy a gallon of each of the 4 recommended colors.
EVERY CANVASWORKS FLOORCLOTH blank is pre-shrunk and primed before cutting. Then it’s prepared with a 1.5″ sewn hem with sewn, mitered corners. We use a heavyweight No. 8 canvas weighing in at 18 oz./sq.yd. Painted and sealed with the proper materials, it is extremely resilient and will last a very long time.

Wreath Floorcloth Kit
A great first project. The design is included and ready for you to draw onto the 2′ X 3′ floorcloth. Then just paint and finish! All directions and a video link which shows you how it’s done are included.
