Custom Size Blank Floorcloths
At Canvasworks we have three standard sizes of #8 (18 oz.) shrunk, primed and hemmed floorcloths: 2′ X 3′, 3′ X 5′ and 4′ X 6′. Any other size can be made and is considered a custom order. #8 canvas can be used to create a floorcloth up to 78″ (6’6″) wide and any length up to 20′. These floorcloths are $7/sq.ft.
We also have #4 (24 oz.) canvas available for heavier floorcloths (great for dining rooms and heavily trafficked hallways). These heavier weight floorcloths can be made up to 114″ (9’6″) and any length up to 20′. #4 floorcloths are $10/sq.ft.
To calculate the square footage of your project multiply the length (in inches) by the width (in inches) of your desired finished size. Divide this number by 144 to get the square footage. Download an order form here and mail or fax it to the studio or fill out your information online here.
Because we apply a beautifully made 1.5″ sewn hem, we are unable to create curved edges. Octagons are an option for spaces where a round shape is being considered. Please call the studio for details.
We also sell raw canvas if you prefer to prepare it yourself. #8 is $3.00/sq.ft., up to 84″ wide and #4 is $5/sq.ft. up to 120″ wide.
Custom sized blanks are usually made and shipped within 2 weeks of ordering.
